The manufacturing floor had been shut down for scheduled maintenance the previous week, providing an extended holiday for production employees. This had caused all kinds of problems, both real and imagined, for the sales force nationwide, and the sales teams’ problems had landed in the middle of the engineering offices on January 3rd.
