Where does my scientific career fit into the themes of this book? I offer several of my scientific career objectives.

In “measuring the right thing,” my training as a physicist is at the uppermost. This is in two ways. I made a dedicated effort to contribute to improving instrumentation and methods for understanding biological macromolecules.
