You should now have an understanding and hopefully an appreciation of Organizational Prowess and the Scorecard Solution. There is little doubt that if you apply what you have learned in the preceding chapters, your organization’s performance will be strengthened. To maximize results, however, you need to invest in your company’s culture. Culture is what surrounds any organizational effort, including scorecard application. To what degree improvements happen depends on your culture—people’s beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors. Culture can help to optimize a change effort or can thwart it.
