Chapter 32. How Story Points Relate to Hours
“How many hours does a story point equal?” I get some version of that question on a regular basis. No matter the company, industry, or geographic location, the deeper concern is always the same: What exactly is the relationship between story points and hours?
To help answer that question, I introduce you to Rachel, the product owner, and Jackson, the team’s ScrumMaster. We find Rachel and Jackson in a meeting prior to a product backlog grooming session.
