Chapter 5. Implementing the Scrum Roles

Traditional teams who shift to Scrum encounter new roles and different ways of thinking. They have to find a ScrumMaster, whose job is to keep the process running smoothly without dictating solutions. They have to have a product owner, who is tasked with steering the team in the best direction based on business value. Then, they have to learn to be good team members, which involves cultivating a cross-functional attitude, learning new skills, and working on tasks that might be new to them.
