Step 3: Systems of Support

Think about your house. What is your house, really? At its core, your house consists of two things—Structure and Systems. Your house’s Structure is its particular style—Cape, Ranch, Victorian, etc.—and includes how its individual parts are arranged: number of rooms, sizes of the rooms, where they’re placed, and so on. Your house’s Structure is its parts.

Secondly, your house consists of Systems. Systems make your house’s parts serve a function. Your house’s Systems include: electric, heating, ventilation, plumbing, ...
