Roles and Responsibilities within Whole-school SEN Coordination

 

This chapter introduces the theme of roles and responsibilities in mainstream schools for pupils with special educational needs. This includes the roles and responsibilities of the governors and head teacher, as well as those of the SENCo. The overall responsibilities lie with the governing body and the head teacher, who carry out the strategic planning for the school's development.
