I want to thank the shareholder advocates that I have met and worked closely with over the past six years at As You Sow and especially those who agreed to be interviewed for this book and whose biographies are below. These are my colleagues, teachers, and mentors. These are the people who have spent their careers engaging corporations at the most fundamental level for change.

There are so many more leaders in the field that I did not have time or space to interview, but I stand on the shoulders of all of these people and have extreme gratitude for the work they do, for their tenacity, and for their belief in a just and abundant future.
