Conclusion
In writing this book, my aim has been to clear away the clutter and focus on the skills and tasks that pertain to producing a short motion picture. In order to live up to that goal and stay true to the title of this tome, I have necessarily omitted a number of topics that come into play when producing in a longer form. Feature producers must know their way around agents and managers, tax credit programs and completion bonds. They have to give some thought to the extra content that might go on the DVD release of the movie. They must leave open the option of making dubbed foreign language releases of their films. The producer of short content has none of these concerns.
