It’s easy to shoot pictures with poor color but hard to fix them afterward. Although today’s photo editing programs provide better color-correction tools than ever before, you can avoid hours of tedious color repair processes by using your camera’s white balance and color settings features.
If your camera can use filters (all digital SLR and some point-and-shoot cameras can), you can improve the color quality of your photos even more.
