This Ain’t Your Mama’s Film Book
Since I first wrote this book at the height of “The DV Revolution”, the state of filmmaking has evolved considerably. The revolution is over and digital video won. No longer the ugly step-child of film, video is now the Cinderella of the ball and everybody and their mama can now afford a decent camera. The problem of accessibility has been conquered. The new problem is that not everybody and their mama knows how to make that camera “do what it do” (as the kids like to say) and tell a compelling visual story that looks and sounds professional.
