Deciding Whether and How to Work Together
In this chapter, I discuss the stages that my clients and I go through to develop an agreement on how to work together and what they will accomplish. During the contracting process, the client and I also develop the foundation of our working relationship. This contracting approach rests on the premise that only the primary client—the group I will be facilitating—has the valid information to contract with the facilitator.
