Obtaining Financing and Increasing Cash Flow
In this chapter, we present information regarding obtaining financing and additional ways to increase cash flow. We discuss several internal sources of financing for a company, including reduction of inventory levels, profits, increasing accounts receivable collections, and reviewing accounts payable disbursement policies. Lastly, personal funding from shareholders, family, and friends; external sources of financing, including lending institutions, factoring of accounts receivable, leasing, venture capitalists, and angel investors; and how to calculate the true cost associated with a line of credit are discussed.
