What a difference a decade makes. Ten years ago when I was on the exhibit side of shows, I was using paper exhibitor kits. Show service forms were filled out and faxed to the decorator. We carried to the show our thick binders with copies of all our service orders, shipping documents, and exhibit drawings. Shows that had converted to online order systems were few and far between. Even the majority of attendees registered for shows by faxing or mailing in their registration forms. Upon arriving at the show and checking in, they were handed show bags weighing sometimes in excess of 5 lbs. filled with exhibitor and sponsor collateral and a big thick show directory.
