It may be one of the newer social media platforms out there, but Google+ is quickly catching up to other platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. With such a dizzying array or platforms available to reach investors, advisors, or clients, it may be easier to think of Google+ as just another social media platform to devote your time and energy to; however, doing so would be a mistake.

- Build your online connections
- Stay engaged with and satisfy your existing clientele
- Drive more website traffic
- Position yourself and/or your company as an authority on certain subjects

- Establish a Strong Google+ Page Presence and Profile—As with most social media platforms, you can customize your Google+ page to reflect your expertise and brand. Yet before you can create a Google+ page, you must first complete a Google profile, as this profile effectively serves as your Google+ About page. Visitors to your Google+ page can click on this About tab to learn more about you and your firm, so this is the ideal location to include:
- A professional photo
- Your biography
- Company's address, hours of operation, ...
