It’s music to my ears — it’s music to everyone on set, because a part of the story has been told. It’s in the can.
How did this little miracle happen? As a Steadicam operator, what part did I play in all of it? What exactly did I do?
My assistant taps me on the back. The DP wants to see me, now. He’s waiting for me; this is not good. We are moving on; there’s no chance here to savor the moment. It’s work. There’s another Steadicam shot for me to do. Music to my ears.
