Isaac pulled out the compass from his rucksack. HEC held the periscope while Isaac aimed it to 287 degrees. Isaac gave the notebook to his sister, who read off the dots and dashes for him to signal. When he was done, Amelia asked, “Can I see through the periscope?”
Isaac relinquished his place for his sister to have a look, while taking back his notebook. He asked, “Can we go back now? I would really like some tea.”
HEC said, “I think that is an excellent idea.”
