On the streets, the word Kingpin refers to “The BOSS.” Typically, it has a bit of a negative connotation since its usual reference is associated with persons engaged in illegal activity. Most people hear that word and think of the drug lord or the mob boss. A Kingpin and a Mahoff are two different stigmas as well. On the streets the Kingpin will always outweigh the Mahoff.
