It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CONCLUSION
AS I HAVE WRITTEN THROUGHOUT THIS book, an effective supply chain and sourcing organization can help management find a competitive advantage. This often translates directly into healthy growth and a stronger bottom line. There is, however, a caveat to this new approach: If implemented improperly, a company can wind up with a real hangover.
