If you’re like me, you likely started your dive certification process at the first dive store you unintentionally wandered into one day. Selecting supplier partners for your supply chain is like searching for the perfect dive store.
When selecting the perfect dive store, I’ve discovered four key elements to consider:
1. Store personality. Some dive stores are similar to clothing boutiques. They have excellent lighting, play lots of tropical music, and have comfortable sitting areas. Some are utilitarian. They have fins, regulators, wet suits, and a place to sit for trying on equipment. Others treat dive gear like an afterthought; they’re just another sporting goods store.
