Bambu’s Lacquerware is made from certified organic coiled bamboo, shaped by hand, coated with multiple layers of a food-safe lacquer from the cashew nut tree, then finished with an even more durable food- safe lacquer.
Manufactured in Vietnam, each piece is entirely handmade by artisans whom Bambu provide with a number of benefits, including higher-than-average wages, housing subsidies, unemployment benefits and medical cover.
