Created by Sebastian Cox from sustainable hazel, harvested in Lincolnshire, England, this rustic woodland candelabra makes use of the parts of the hazel rods that are not straight enough for chair legs or table rails.

Working exclusively with hazel and other English hardwoods, Cox is playing a part in reviving the British timber industry, supporting well-managed coppices (see pages 52, 127).
