The journey of healing from your traumas will not be rainbows and unicorns. In fact, the healing process will be ugly at times, but when you can heal, you become whole again, and life becomes beautiful.
You have to remember that you are different and that your healing process will not be the same as everyone else and that is okay because you are not everyone else. Being able to know different ways to heal from your traumas can show that there isn't one way of doing things, but there are many ways to heal from your traumas. I will share with you some of the ways that I have healed from my traumas and ways other people have healed from theirs.
I think one of the biggest things I had to heal from was the need to be liked or the need to please every single person. In Asian culture, it's all you have been taught to live by, and when you constantly fear that people will not like you, it can take a toll on your mental health. This was probably the biggest trauma I had to heal from and am still healing from because when you have been taught to do this all your life, it will not go away overnight. You have to unlearn so many things in order to move forward.
Being able to heal from your traumas will help you build more confidence in yourself, be able to live in the present instead of the past, and start taking control of your own life.
