Let's Get Started!
Bright and early on Monday morning, V was ready for the day.
She wanted to start the “play” session off with a temporary coffee bar and scone setup outside the meeting area to get the creative juices flowing and set the tone for an enjoyable and productive session.
The coffee bar was set up to serve latte, cappuccino, Americano, nitro cold brew, and iced latte—all favorites in the Austin scene. Specialty coffee shops in Austin often offer unique and creative coffee drinks made with high‐quality ingredients, so a wide variety of options were available, even with a barista to stir them up for the team.
The scones came from Frances’s Scone Loft. Frances’s made them with the finest ingredients and baked fresh on‐site. V had selected several favorites, including blueberry, cinnamon sugar, lemon poppy seed, chocolate chip, and cranberry orange. In addition, for her rabbit team, she added in carrot cake too. She chuckled at her little joke!
The team was called the rabbit team as they were headed down the rabbit hole. This started with a few weeks of education—with the first week focused on more lectures and fireside chats on the technology. The second week focused on use cases and some real‐world examples. Rex, the instructor, had warned that the pace was moving fast so they need to learn and be curious each day.
