Let’s say we are having a holiday party. You have the table set. You have a voracious teenager who can’t wait to get to the food. What do you expect his response would be if there was not enough dessert for everyone? That is or should be your reaction to the concepts presented in the previous three chapters.
Each of the methodologies (slices of the pie) are important in resolving the issues confronting your organization. In our presentation of the methodologies, we have tried to demonstrate the power of each of them: Theory of Constraints, Lean, and Six Sigma. Each on its own behalf brings to the table powerful tools and outcomes.
