When Steph told Alex about her meeting with Max and how he had opened up to her and basically promised her the business, Alex was ecstatic and high-fived her. But that buzz only lasted for a few moments. It was then that Steph told him how much Max had been offended by the way he’d been treated when Alex had insisted that he and Jack be in on the original briefing that had done so much damage to D&D’s corporate credibility, at least with Max.
“I was merely trying to show Max the full range of our capabilities.”
