Can millennials really find the flexibility and freedom they so long for? It is certainly possible, but the search for the right fit could take time.
Although there has been a move toward workplace flexibility over the past two decades, the results have been spotty and slow in coming. Sure, many companies now allow a few people to work from home. Some also have made Friday hours flexible. But the majority of employees still report most days to the same location and put in at least eight hours there. So millennials will have to pick their employers with care.
