The best offence is a good defence
Preparedness is a part of life. When you do it effectively, it improves your chances of success. It is the strength you draw on to face the unexpected. Preparedness is integral to creativity too. Even if you are the most creative person in your office, your ingenuity can still be affected by the slow responses of others, poor odds and things that are not in your control.
As Mr or Mrs Creative at work, you might find the following:
- Not everyone will ask for your involvement.
- Some won’t value creativity.
- The topic is open to interpretation.
- Your organisation may not be able to implement creative solutions.
- You will have critics as well as fans (but probably lots more fans).
