Chapter 21. Listening to Internet Radio
There’s one more type of streaming music we need to discuss. Internet radio is the online equivalent of terrestrial AM/FM radio, full of all sorts of radio stations that operate over the web, using streaming audio technology.
Some Internet radio stations exist solely online. Others simulcast existing AM/FM stations. And some let you create own personal stations, just for you, in real time. It’s an interesting way to hear old favorites and new music alike, town to town and up and down the dial.
