I'll share some of the best performing LinkedIn sales message templates that I've used over the years, and the ones that have performed best with the companies that I've worked with and trained.

THE ‘HOW WE CAN HELP YOU’ TEMPLATE

The first template I'll share is a direct screenshot of a message that not only got a reply, but won me a customer in less than 30 days.

This works well when you can highlight quickly how you can help them, or what's in it for them, in an attractive and engaging way. It's about trying to frame your product/service in a way that you know it's going to catch the attention of your prospect.

Let me break this message down into its key components and explain what made it successful:

  1. Firstly, I open the message highlighting what I believe I can do for them. It's not about what I'm selling, but about what they could achieve. When I'm selling advertising packages for The Daily Sales, I'm offering the opportunity for companies to generate really high traffic and leads from advertising with us.
  2. I then throw in what I call the bait, something that I know will spark their interest. For The Daily Sales, our bait is our audience and engagement. At the time of sending this message our audience was 160,000+ strong (it's now 600,000+!). For any company selling to salespeople, this is a large audience of target ...
