Hi Oscar,

I'm writing an article titled “The Top 10 Expert Marketing Trends for 2023,” and I wondered if you would like to share your top trend in it? It will include ten trends by ten marketing experts, and given your extensive experience, I'd love to include you in it. If you're interested, it should only take 5–10 minutes, and I can send over some more detail on the article and what we would need.

I hope you can be a part of it.

TEMPLATE 1 NOTES: This is one of the most effective InMail templates as it not only gives value to the prospect by giving them the opportunity to be in an article, but it also gives you the opportunity to create a great article and then progress the conversation.

IMPORTANT: This isn't just a hollow message; this will only work if you actually write the article (which it is in your best interest to do).

My recommendation is to send this to 5–10 of your top prospects each month/quarter. Use their insights to create one, or a few, articles on LinkedIn. After each one is published, reply to the prospect sharing the link to the article and thanking them for their time, and then progress the conversation. Something like this:

“Hi Oscar, thank you so much for sharing your insights for our article, here is a link to it – www.linkedin.com/articlelink. I know you're heading up the marketing team at Apple, and I ...
