Blog marketing is an important component of your online marketing plan. But how do you measure its effectiveness? After all, you have to measure both the performance of your company blog and the performance of your PR efforts toward other bloggers. That’s a lot to track.

What you have to do is split your blog marketing into these two key areas, blogging and what is essentially online public relations. You can then measure the first component (your blog) using standard website analytics and the second component (your influence on other bloggers) using analytics common to your other PC efforts.
