Be Proactive
Starting a new role or project can feel like a first day of school (where introductions take place and you are given the instructions you need), a first day in a foreign country (where no one knows who you are), or a combination of the two. No matter what situation you find yourself in, however, the lesson is the same: No one will care more about your success than you—and no one will know more about what you need than you.
