Bruce Daisley sat there – in the London office on Great Titchfield Street – worried. When he was hired as the general manager of Twitter EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), poached from his former position at Google, he arrived in the UK in January 2012 to find a group of 15 people, and another 500 globally, all tethered to the beat of Silicon Valley.
