The expectations referred to in the title of this chapter include the group of transfer functions and Soundtrack installation items that an editor would need to know to get their Final Cut sequence into Soundtrack. This chapter covers a variety of those types of topics, starting with installation of Soundtrack Pro, covering the transfer of files from Final Cut Pro to Soundtrack Pro, and then on to a more abstract discussion of the audio tasks that you, as a video editor, may need to accomplish.
