With video equipment manufacturers increasingly engaged in spec wars over lines of resolution it seems appropriate to investigate those figures, what they mean and why they’re so often misleading. Knowing how to measure resolution will help you make a smart purchase the next time you look for a camcorder, VCR or monitor.
