As organizations, nations, and statesmen fail in the eyes of the public, trust has become a scarce commodity in society. Now more than ever, big business is a target of social distrust. However, organizational trust should actually be high on the priority list of any company that wants to be around in the future. Too many organizations ignore the importance of engendering trust and then find themselves in trouble later.
