6. Not Finished Until It’s Furnished
Once you’ve completed the outside of your structure, you might think “OK, now what do I put inside?” or “How do I decorate this?” Minecraft has crafting recipes for household items that can add some style (paintings, flower pots, stained glass), but it lacks some of the basics, such as furniture. Sure, you can make a bed, and although it’s useful for resetting your spawn point and skipping the nighttime, it’s not very appealing. In short, it’s ugly. It’s not impossible to furnish a house; you just have to get creative and use items in a way they weren’t necessarily intended to be used—wooden pressure plates as tabletops, for example.
