Captain Erica Borggren graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 2002 as the class valedictorian. A Rhodes Scholar, she spent her lieutenant years at Oxford University, England, where she earned an M.S. degree in Comparative Social Policy in 2003 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology in 2004. Since then, she has been stationed in Yongsan, Korea, where she served as the Executive Officer for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 18th Medical Command, and then as the Management Officer in the Resource Management Division of the 18th MEDCOM. She now commands Alpha Company, 121st Combat Support Hospital, in Yongsan, Korea.
