Full and sustainable employee engagement begins with a CEO or business owner. The true “Engagement CEO” has the kind of awareness and commitment to recognize the mindset and skills required in a fully engaged organization. Much of the employee engagement “industry” tiptoes around this subject. God forbid someone loses a consulting assignment because we asked too much of the CEO!
