6	CHAPTER SIX The workshop set-up

Workshops work best if you are able to go to a different venue, away from the office. However, not all projects have catering and venue budgets that allow us to do this. Nevertheless, we can still take control over the set-up and experience to ensure the session is as productive as possible.

The workshop leader creates an immersive experience for the participants. It is very important to consider the logistics and allow time to prepare for these (or get some support to help you).
