Your Meetings Will Be Typed

On Friday August 24, the last day of my tour in Happiness, I had my first team meeting. It was the worst kind of meeting—the kind where no one knows why they're there. Mike, Beau, and Andy, my three programmers, had other projects and no room for new assignments. And then there was me with only one assignment—an assignment I was unavoidably overeager about after watching from the Happiness support sidelines for three weeks, of trying to make the team feel like a team.
