THE VERY NATURE OF THE CSS ZEN GARDEN lends itself to quiet contemplation, and for illustrator Charlotte Lambert, coming up with the visual design for Ballade began with just that. Lambert took a mental stroll through a garden. Her imagination flowing, different figurative items were discovered along the way: A stairway, a small bridge, a cat out for a jaunt.
