The Trifecta of Accelerators: the Internet of Things, Idle Assets, and Marginal Cost Pricing
TxCs are falling on fertile ground. Right now, there are three accelerators working together that are turbocharging the impact of falling TxCs:
1. The Internet of Things. The world’s assets have largely been stranded and stuck in an “off” position in relation to the market. The Internet of Things is about to turn them “on.”
2. Idle assets. The world’s physical assets are grossly underutilized, due in large part to many being stuck in single-use mode (for their owners). Higher utilization of these assets will perhaps be the biggest value opportunity the world has ever seen.
