TxCs and Disaggregation in Universities

In the previous chapter we covered the ways in which tasks in a bank could be disaggregated. In this chapter we do the same for universities.

The university is one of the most fascinating industry sectors to examine. It has been almost frozen in time for 500-plus years as an aggregated unit. A professor in ancient Roman history from the year 1650 would slot seamlessly into the classroom of today and would, no doubt, be much sought after in any university for his or her unique perspectives. Little has changed; PowerPoint might befuddle him, like it does the rest of us.
