Fully Embodied
It’s rare that fully embodied organizations become totally rotten zombies overnight, and vice versa. So we developed the five stages of zombification, each with its own emoji, to help you get a sense of where you might be right now or at any given time. You aren’t destined to live forever in one stage or another, but this is a quick and easy way to assess where you stand overall. The organizations we featured in this book that showed zombie behavior chose actions that either pushed them further toward a more critical stage or pulled them back toward being more fully human.
