Thomas Brudholm holds a PhD in Philosophy and is Associate Professor in the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is the author of Resentment's Virtue: Jean Améry and the refusal to forgive (Temple University Press, 2008), and is the editor of The Religious in Response to Mass Atrocity: interdisciplinary perspectives (Cambridge University Press, 2009).
