Abnormal Operating Conditions

Abnormal operating conditions may occur when operating parameters exceed their rated design limits under normal operating conditions. When an abnormal condition occurs, it is not an emergency, but it does demand prompt corrective action. An abnormal operating condition should be investigated by operating personnel to find the reason/s for such occurrence.
