Triangulate Perspectives

The information explosion that drove today’s tremendous specialization shows no signs of stopping. One antidote to joining the ranks of the narrowly zoomed-in and focused is to adopt a generalist approach, one that seeks out multiple perspectives with the hopes of triangulating unique insights. Acknowledging that every perspective is, by definition, incomplete may enable a broader, more flexible, and open-minded approach to empathizing with others. It will also help us navigate the ubiquitous uncertainty that plagues our world today.
