Over the course of the narrative of Think Like a Futurist, my intent has been to help you become more effective at problem solving, no matter what your time horizon. That has taken us on an up-close examination of principles and practices that are by now familiar to you: the four forces, the left brain–right brain–left brain (L-R-L) approach to problem solving, the Zone of Discovery, and the 5 Percent Rule.
